The project collaborated with the Free University of Amsterdam (Netherlands), Kharkov National University of Radioelectronics (Ukraine), and local research groups within the Agora Center consortium.
The SmartResource project is primarily funded by Tekes and partially funded by businesses and the Jyväskylä Science Park. Launched in June 2004, its current main goal concerns the semantic adaptation of industrial resources to the Semantic Web environment. The executive group consists of six researchers and developers and two trainees lead by Prof. Vagan Terziyan.
