ELFA

ELFA is a Higher Education Institutional Cooperation programme between Eritrea Institute of Technology (EIT) and the (Agora Center & Faculty of Education) University of Jyvaskyla, Finland. The overall objective of ELFA is institutional capacity development at EIT and associate institutions, Asmara Community College of Education (ACCE) and Ministry of Education (MOE), Eritrea. The project is based on the current educational reforms undertaken by the Ministry of National Development in Eritrea. The participants will develop their professional capacity in teacher training, institutional management and research to support and manage the education process in institutions of learning across Eritrea.

ELFA MODULES


The modules have been officially approved at the National Commission for Higher Education (NCHE), Eritrea and the ECTS credit points received during the ELFA training are transferable to the Masters program at the College of Education, at the Eritrea Institute of Technology (EIT).

PARTICIPANTS

ELFA received a total of 90 applications. 

70 participants were selected for the modules training.

From the Eritrea Institute of Technology (EIT), 36 participants

From Asmara Community College of Education, 12 participants

From the Ministry of Education of Eritrea, 22 participants
