Agora Doctoral Dissertation Awards

Since 2001, researchers have been annually awarded the Agora Doctoral Dissertation Award. The award is intended to support interdisciplinary scientific research. The criteria for the award are the topical societal relevance, its novelty value and the scientific standard. The Agora Center as the donor of the award hope that these choices will bring out the diversity of technology and innovations, and support researchers in seeking groundbreaking applications for their work. The Agora Center has collaborated with the Jyväskylä Innovation Oy and Technopolis Ventures JSP Oy (formerly Technical Society of Jyväskylä), and the University of Jyväskylä Foundation in the award process.
